We all like pizza, it’s a fact. We love it on a stay at home Friday night, we love it for a quick meal and we even love it cold in the morning. I know it’s easier to pick up the phone and order one but it’s even better when you make it yourself. So I’ve decided to share with you a really simple and quick recipe for an amazing pizza!

INGREDIENTS:
FOR THE DOUGH:
- 500 grams of flour;
- 2 and 1/2 teaspoons of dry yeast;
- 1 teaspoon of salt;
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil;
- 350 ml of warm water (it can vary);
FOR THE TOPPING:
- tomatoes sauce;
- mozarella, grated;
- I used: yellow bell pepper, olives, ham and salami but you can add literally anything;
- if you are using chicken or any raw meat make sure to cook a bit before putting it on your pizza;
INSTRUCTIONS:
FOR THE DOUGH:
- in a big bowl mix together the flour, the dry yeast and the salt;
- add the olive oil and a bit of water then start mixing everything with your hands or with a wooden spoon;
- start adding more water slowly and mixing until everything is combined into a dough;
- you can add more flower / less water depending on how your dough is looking;
- knead the dough for about 5 minutes;
- take a clean bowl, add a bit of olive oil in it and make sure it covers all it’s “walls” then place the dough in it and cover it with a clean towel or with a plastic wrap;
- place the bowl in a warmer room and let it sit for a minimum of 2 hours;
- after it raised enough take the dough out of the bowl and put it on the table then roll it with your fingers to form a round with 10-12 inches diameter;
- raise the margins a bit then proceed to adding the topping;
FOR THE TOPPING:
- make sure all the pizza crust is covered in a thin layer or tomato sauce;
- the next layer should be grated mozzarella (trust me);
- now you can add everything you want on it. I started with the ham and the salami then added the bell pepper and the olives;
- don’t forget to add more grated mozzarella on top of everything;
Place it in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for about 10-15 minutes until the crust gets a golden color. You can verify if the crust is done by poking it with a wooden tooth pick. When you get it out it should be clean.
