You might or might not heard or seen that basically everyone is talking about this great app called Notion. I am probably late to the party with this post, but I really wanted to share my tips on how to make Notion, an easy and great tool for organizing your life.
I downloaded Notion a while ago and used it for different notes, or short stories that I like to write from time to time, but I never truly took my time and make it worth it, until a few weeks ago. Now that I am happy with how things turned out, I am sharing with you all of my knowledges.
The first thing you should do is, well, download it. You can download Notion, for free, here, on your laptop, desktop, or phone, then make an account and get started. Follow the steps and create your own page, or just import the template I am using from here (it’s in Romanian but you can use my photo for reference when changing words). To make it your own, click “duplicate” from the top right corner and it will be right in your Notion app.

I’ve decided to simply name mine “home” and just changed the cover photo to something I’ve found on Unsplash. After you created your main page, add some more and place them under the main one.

After you download the template everything will be in Romanian so you can simply refer to this page to change the names of the topics. These are the ones I use, pretty simple as I do not like a lot of clutter.

Personal
- Creativity – where I write poems, short stories;
- Year in review – I have a page for each year and I put 3 pictures and 3 things that happen in each month. Get the template from here;
University
- courses – where I take quick notes or plan for essays;
Work
- blog posts planner – which holds a calendar with every post that goes live
- and other categories that are pretty self-explanatory
I am being honest here, I am not really using the To-Do list on the right very often as I do like to write everything down in my bullet journal but the rest of the things are being used on a daily basis.
The university category has been a lifesaver in the past weeks. Due to it being mostly online we have a lot of essays or things we need to read and keeping track of everything in a place that I have access to from any device has been great.
There are also a lot of templates that you can choose from and adapt to your likings. From a personal planner to habit trackers, a five-minute journal, or a book list, you can basically plan everything in this little app!

I love Notion so much. I actually discovered it through Tik Tok and actually use it to keep track of some of my blogging stuff! Great post! ❤️
Thank you♥️
If you’re late to the party then I don’t even know the party exists – I’ve never heard of Notion before! 😂 Good pointer on the language change as something like that would put me off as I panic that I’ve downloaded the wrong thing. I really like the idea of this, especially to be able to list and organise blog post titles. Very nifty app, I can see why you like it! Fab review lovely.
