I haven’t done an updated skincare routine in a while so here is my new one. I like to keep it very minimal and quick and I only achieve this after a long time of buying and trying to use a lot of unnecessary products. Before we get into things I just wanted to let you know that I have a combination skin that meaning that is usually oily in the T-zone and normal/dry on the checks.

SHOP THE POST

This is the first thing I do in the morning before anything else when it comes to my skincare routine. I don’t use anything other than plain water to do so.
I only wash my face with a cleanser at night time but you will be able to read about it in my next post.

I only started using a toner recently and I do have days when I forget haha. I picked one from Pixi a while ago and only decided to put it at use recently. So far so good! I love it and it hasn’t been doing anything weird with my face.

After waiting about a minute for my toner to dry I proceed to apply my serum which is the one from The Ordinary with Hyaluronic Acid. I used to use the Marine Hyaluronic one then found out later that if you are 25 or over you are supposed to use this one.
If you want to try it, make sure you wet your face a bit before with plain or thermal water because this works the best.

Next on the list is eye cream and with my dark circles this one is sadly a must. Loved the texture on this one it barely has a smell and it lets your skin around your eyes really smooth. I did see an improvement in my dark circles but you really have to use it for a longer period of time. And also get a minimum of 8 hours of sleep.

Last on the list is, of course, face cream with SPF. Do not forget about SPF like never! It is a must even if it is cloudy outside and even if you are staying inside. This one for Kiehl’s is really nice on my skin, it doesn’t get oily and it doesn’t have that specific smell for other SPF creams.

So this is everything I put on my face in the morning. There are higher chances for me to stick to a routine if it doesn’t take a lot of time!
So how about your routine? Do you prefer something quick like me or do you like to take more time getting ready in the morning? Let me know in the comments down below!

Thank you for the tip on eye cream. I so know what you mean about accumulating product until you find the right one. I will give this one a try using your link. I had surgery not that long ago and although I don’t have dark circles, the scar tissue over the eye is dark, so I’m gonna see if this will help. Fingers crossed.
I really think it should help! I have noticed a slight improvement in my dark circles since I started using it, but you really have to use it every day to really work.
I hope you will get results! xx
Me too! It should be here Thursday. Shall I take before and afters? oooh, that might be a good idea. I have this stuff the doctor suggested post surgery but it hasn’t done a whole lot other than smooth the scars a bit, which is good as well.
I think taking a before and after will be good. I wouldn’t honestly expect a very big improvement but you should see a good one though.
Hope that it will work for you!
Nice post. I really should try out the Glow Pixi Toner 💕
