I have been changing my night time skin care routine every now and then for a few years and I never actually found the right one. This thing changed when I began to do a little research and get to know my skin better and what products might be working better for it.
So I have decided that, after sticking to it for a few months, to share it with you all and maybe, in one way or another, help you all! Please feel free to share what skin care products you are currently loving with us all in the comments down below.
1.REMOVING MY MAKEUP AND CLEANING MY FACE
The first thing I do before applying anything on my face is to remove my makeup using micellar water or some makeup remover wipes . Then I use the Kiehl’s Rare Earth Deep Pore Daily Cleanser to make sure all my pores are now cleaned the way they should. I also use this cleanser every night even if I didn’t wore makeup that day.

You can get the Kiehl’s daily cleanser from here.
2. APPLYING THE OILS
Also new in my skin care routine is using the Niacinamide 10% + Zinc face oil from The Ordinary which is supposed to help with my acne scars, minimize my pores and regulates my sebum production. So far so good! I really like the way it makes my face look so I will definitely keep using it.
One thing I do is that I don’t apply it every night for a long period of time. I like to use it for about 3-4 days of the week and then alternate it with only a face cream.

You can get the Niacinamide oil from here .
3. APPLYING THE MOISTURIZER
The next and most of the days last step is applying the moisturizer. Most of the times is the one from La Roche Posay Cicaplast Baume B5 as it works great for my acne scars. It has a thick texture and I will not use it as my morning moisturizer but it’s great for night time skin care routine. You will wake up in the morning with a soft and nourished skin.

You can get it from here.
4. APPLYING A MASK (ONCE OR TWICE A WEEK)
I have started using this mask from The Ordinary about a month or so ago and I have noticed some major improvements on my skin especially when it comes to some marks I had from some previous pimples experiences haha. I usually apply it every Monday but if a new “friend” happens to find it’s way on my face I will make sure to apply it once again on a Thursday.
I use this one on some target places like my chin and my nose and I advise you to do so as you don’t really need a mask with Salicylic Acid on the areas on your face that are problem free.

You can get it from here.
5. TAKING CARE OF THE LIPS
I know this step is not technically talking about my skin face but my lips are part of my face too right? Anyway, I have recently bought this overnight lips mask and OMG I love it. I will do a review about this on my Instagram (follow me to stay updated) but until then I just had to add it here.

You can buy the product from here.
And that is my skin care routine! Pretty simple, I know but trust me, a really full night time skin care routine will only make me not do it in the end.
Let me know what products are you using in your skin care routine, what’s been working for you and what you would definitely recommend to all of us!
