Paperlike screen protector. Is it worth it?

Having the right screen protector might make a huge difference when it comes to the things you do on your iPad. Paperlike is one of, if not the best screen protector out there that will for sure improve your digital drawing or writing experience.

A few weeks ago Paperlike was kind enough to send me their screen protector for me to try and review it for you guys.

I mainly use my iPad for taking notes, drawing, or watching Netflix or YouTube. I like to take my notes both on paper and on my iPad and if you are interested in a more in-depth post about digital note-taking you can check out this post. In this last month, I have also been using my iPad for learning how to draw. I have found a YouTube channel that teaches you how to draw in Procreate and well that’s how I’ve been killing my time.

THE APPLICATION PROCESS

The application process is somehow simple especially because they have a video explaining all the steps (you can watch it here). I was stressed at first because after applying the screen protector I got a lot of dust inside haha my worst nightmare. Well, I managed to get all of it out with the dust stickers and I was really impressed to see that the screen protector stuck to the screen really well after I unstick it for like 100 times.

MY THOUGHTS

Even though the process of applying it was a bit time consuming but mainly because of me I say it with all my heart that I love it. The Apple Pencil works at it’s best considering the fact that I have the budget iPad that doesn’t have that great screen.

I found it easier to write my notes and draw because the pencil would not slip like on a regular screen protector. The Paperlike one is more matte and has some kind of a texture so it is great for more accuracy.

The only thing that you might find annoying is that the screen image quality drops a bit due to the texture of the screen protector but for me, this is not a problem.
