November 2nd is an important day to raise awareness of the 48.5 million couples living with infertility. It was also a day to celebrate the enormous step that was made 41 years ago when the IVF was first made possible.

In light of it being World Fertility Day, a private fertility clinic in the UK has prepared the following infographic (see below).
The day was also founded as a way to raise awareness for all those who are faced with fertility issues, as many people feel they must live in silence. The more that society understands fertility, the easier it will be to break the taboo and perhaps even make some lifestyle changes to help improve our chances of conceiving a child.

Infertility can be a battle that you don’t have to carry by yourself and that’s why you should always search for local clinics, support group or explain the problem to your own family.
So, one again, lets all remember the importance of this day!

This is such an important issue to raise awareness of because fertility issues can affect so many. Love the infographic! I think having a child is something that can be taken for granted, and unless you have fertility issues you don’t quite ‘get’ the huge impact it can have and how devastating it can be. Great post!
