I got a new bullet journal! Surprised? If you got to know me a bit then you know you shouldn’t be haha!
Decided to start fresh for the new university year and this is how I’ve decided to make the spreads for my new bullet journal!

KEY AND YEARLY CALENDAR
I’ve decided that in this new bullet journal a key would be somehow mandatory as I used so many signs in my last one that I forgot what all of them meant. The year in this bullet journal goes from September 2019 to August 2020 which is also the last day of summer.
I have decided to start fresh for the new university year as I now have a lot more going on with my university, blog and personal life so I wanted to sort out everything before university starts on October 1st.

SEPTEMBER COVER PAGE
If you’ve read my last bullet journal spread you will see that I kept the layout of the cover page for the current month. I also added a little quote and a simple drawing on the left just to spice things up a bit.

MONTHLY CALENDAR
This page also remained the same. I added some washi tape on the right because I actually messed up a line haha!

BLOG PAGE AND DAILY SPREAD
I have realized that I wasn’t using my daily spreads that much in the past and they were basically just taking up space. I have kept the page on the left for blog related things like scheduling my post or write any possible collaborations.
For my “daily spreads” I have decided to write at the top of the page the current week and then make lists of events that are happening in a certain day. I want to plan as I go somehow and I’ll keep you updated on my Instagram with how this is going to look.

WHAT I AM USING:
- Moleskine medium dotted, soft cover notebook in Myrtle Green
- Pigma Micron in 02 black
- TomBow brush pen in the color 243

Starting a new bullet journal | January setup

I’ve been trying so hard not to get a bullet journal because I know I’ll get way too obsessed but your one is so beautiful. It’s really minimal but also super functional, which makes me jealous haha. I need to get one!
Thank you! Don’t worry I get very obsessed too especially when I can’t decided which bullet journal to use haha that’s why I tend to change them all the time. You really need to find out what works for you..
I love your spread Anna! I’m actually trying to design my bujo right now for school. It’s my first time using one EVER so it’s a bit overwhelming with all the customizations I can make for it haha. I love how clean and simple it is! <3

Thank you so much! I am happy you liked it. I have to honest here though, I am really thinking of switching to the Moleskine 12 months weekly planner from the start of January because I saw some reviews on YouTube and I feel like it will help me a lot more😅 so you can look into that if you don’t want to feel the pressure of having to set up every month. I like to make my spreads but I am really bad at keeping up with it sometimes 🤦🏻♀️
I can see what you mean, it’s taking me forever to set it up and I fear for when school’s in session and I might not be able to catch up! Haha
