September spread | Bullet Journal 2018

I do honestly think that this is my 20th time trying to bullet journal and what makes this time different from the others it’s that I’ve actually took my time to decorate and really focus on what I want this journal to have. So I bought a new one, set it up for September and decided to share with you how I’ve set it up.

Even though I love the Leuchtturm bullet journal pages I’ve decided that a Moleskine would be the perfect fit for me. Its covers are soft, it’s not that big like the Leuchtturm one and it will fit perfectly in my bag. Until this time, I would let the cover of my bullet journals blank but now I’ve decided to make them a little bit prettier.

With that being said, I really hope you enjoy this post and maybe get some ideas for your own journal.

I’ve decided to start with an year overview so I can came back to this page every time I need to write another calendar spread again. Ha ha, I know I’m not funny but this is the only reason that I’ve decided to write so many numbers on these 2 pages.

I’ve got this idea from Amanda Rachel Lee (see YouTube channel here) and I do believe that it would be really helpful to see what’s going on every month. The circles around some dates are for birthdays and holidays and I will write the meaning of each one under the calendar.

Beside the fact that I actually found some really nice stickers at a book shop, I’ve decided to get creative with this month and actually decorated these 2 pages. I used crayons to color the leaves because I do feel that Moleskine’s pages are quite thin and I kinda hate when colors bleed on the other pages.

Next was this calendar spread. I don’t know about you but I am one of those people that need to have this kind of spread so that can actually see what’s going on in a certain month. I’ve tried the vertical spread but did not get well with it. Also, my boxes are 7×7 except one row that is 6×7 because I’ve messed up and only noticed when I was taking these pictures.

I have to admit, I had a hard time deciding what layout I wanted for my social media pages so I went with this one that it’s simple and I can really see the things that I have to do this upcoming month.

    1. I am so happy you liked it! I had a really hard time with using one but I’ve decided to not stress about it and try to fill it up my way ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. I love your intro pages for September, so colourful! I need to get back into bullet journalling, love the method but I often spend far too long on decorating rather than getting down to planning

  2. Great job! I’ve tried to bullet journal twice but just found it far too time consuming. Also – that I’m not as artistic as I thought I was! Great post! I’m sure it will be helpful!

    1. Thank you! For me, I find it really hard to actually to fill it up as I really forget about it haha! Do it your own way it does not have to be perfect โ˜บ๏ธ

  3. Great post. I think personalizing it adds another layer of accountability. Like you invested your time so you wonโ€™t let it go to waste. Or at least I should do this for those reasons. ๐Ÿ˜Š I have a bad habit of not being consistent.
