Making people to actually visit and read your blog regularly can be hard and sometimes, even frustrating. You don’t have to actually hate the days when only two or three people take their time to visit your blog instead take a moment to learn how you can actually improve those numbers.
Here are some tips that have been working for me in the past few month! Please, do make sure to leave any tips you might have in the comments down below and let’s help each others!

1. USE TWITTER
This is for sure one of my biggest tips. Twitter has been my best friend ever since I’ve made an account for my blog. I made this decision after reading a post from BeardedIgor blog in which he said that Twitter helped him a lot too.
So, make sure you do setup a Twitter for your blog and follow a lot of retweets accounts like Blogging Bee’s , Blogging Babes , The Blogging Tribe or TheClqRt . You have to use their # every time you share a post so they can retweet it as soon as they see it. Also, make sure to follow me as I do make sure to promote new bloggers from time to time!
2. COMMENT AND LIKE OTHER PEOPLE POSTS
I try to do this every time I have some free time. You are not only supporting other bloggers but you are also going to get some comments or likes on your blog too as most people return the “favor”. I really recommend spending one hour every day/every couple of day to go through your favorite blogs.
Also, don’t feel bad for not doing it for quite a while because in the end everyone is caught in their own life so taking a break is more than ok.
3. BE CONSISTENT WITH YOUR POSTING SCHEDULE
I post a post of my own every Tuesday and sometimes a collaborative post in another day of the week. There are others who post like 3 posts / week or even more but you clearly don’t have to do it. Find the thing that works for you and don’t stress over it.
4. WRITE ABOUT THE THINGS THAT REPRESENT YOU
I can’t really explain it, but I almost always know when someone is way out their niche. You don’t have to be afraid to write about the things that you actually know something about. I, for example, I have a lot of categories on my blog, but I never write about the things I don’t understand. If you like to travel, write about that. If you love flowers you can actually come with something based around it.
5. BE REAL WITH YOUR FOLLOWERS
I hate it when people are promoting things that they don’t use or actually believe in. I know being payed for saying something about a product may be a really appealing situation but if you are a true blogger, you know you are not in this business only for the money. There are other ways to make them (you can read my post here) and still staying true to your followers. I assure you, people acutely know when you are faking it.
6. TAKE PART IN BLOG FOLLOW/COMMENTS THREADS ON TWITTER
If you are going to follow those retweeting accounts that I’ve recommended and some others more you will see that every now and then they make this kind of threads where you can not only meet new bloggers but also get a lot of traffic on your blog. They are fun as make it really easy to gain some new followers too!
7. USE PINTEREST
Well this one seems to work for a bunch of people but you really have to take your time and pin a lot. Just putting your posts out there isn’t going to help very much if you are not pinning others pins too. I still haven’t figured Pinterest out but you can find a really nice course on Ell’s blog.
That’s all for now! Do make sure to leave any tips in the comments down below and make sure to subscribe to my blog for a new post every Tuesday!

Great post! I keep trying with Twitter but I get no traffic from it! I don’t know what I’m doing wrong…
Try following the accounts that I’ve recommended and use # to get a retweet. People will start noticing your tweets soon
I’ve never left a comment on a blog post before so here’s a first! Thank you for the tip x

Aww thank you a lot!
Being active on Twitter is such a big help to traffic x
I have always struggled to engage more on Twitter but recently I started giving one hour of each day to engage on Instagram and Twitter and I can clearly see the results.. 😊 but I definitely need to tag more retweet accounts on Twitter … Thank you Anna.. 😊
