With so many makeup brands making the admirable decision to stop selling their products in China for the welfare of animals, there really is no excuse to support makeup brands that test on animals/allow others to test on animals on their behalf anymore.

URBAN DECAY

Urban Decay is one of my all-time favourite high-end brands! If you haven’t tried Urban Decay, have you been living under a rock?! Their Naked eye-shadow palettes are some of their most well-known and highly rated products overall, including the Naked Honey, the Naked Heat, the Naked Cherry, the Naked Reloaded, the Naked 2 and the Naked 3. One of the reasons the Urban Decay Naked palettes have proven to be so popular within the beauty community is because there are travel size Naked palettes also available to buy for cheaper, so you can try and test before you buy!

Some of Urban Decay’s travel sized palettes are the Naked Heat (travel size) and the On The Run Travel Sized eye-shadow palette (you can also purchase the original Born To Run eye-shadow palette here).. You can also purchase the Urban Decay Moondust eye-shadow palette and the Urban Decay Game Of Thrones eye-shadow palette, so you can see why this brand’s eye-shadow palettes have proven to be so popular considering how many variations they have on sale – there is literally something for everyone!

Although Urban Decay’s eye-shadow palettes are phenomenal and (in my opinion) 100% worth the hype, my absolute favourite product from this brand has to be the famous All-Nighter setting spray. It’s a bit pricey, but you can also purchase the travel size spray for a lot cheaper so you can try before you buy. I wouldn’t usually recommend such a pricey setting spray, but I honestly believe this makes all the difference in melting all my base products into each other and ensuring my makeup lasts (literally) all night, as the name suggests!

TOO FACED

Another one of my all-time fave cruelty free high-end beauty/makeup brands is the famous Too Faced. This brand is highly well-known due to the incredible ‘Better Than Sex’ mascara (the name says it all, really), the phenomenal Hangover Replenishing Face Primer (it really does make you look less hungover and more alive, believe me…) and, last but certainly not least, the highly pigmented Gingerbread Limited Edition Extra Spicy eye-shadow palette.

I’ve tried a few products from Too Faced, two of them being the above mentioned mascara and face primer, but my all-time favourite product from so far is hands down their Born This Way Multi-Purpose Concealer. I have never experienced a concealer with this much coverage and build-ability, not to mention the fact it genuinely blends out like a dream. I also regularly use the Too Faced Born This Way foundation in conjunction with their concealer, and I absolutely adore this product too.

NYX

NYX is a cruelty free brand that’s more on the drugstore brand, therefore it’s a lot kinder to the bank balance. The best NYX products I’ve tried so far have to be the Soft Matte Lip Creams, which are so comfortable and long-lasting on the lips – perfect for a night out or a meal out with the gals. For the price, you really can’t go wrong with these stunning lip creams. I am unfortunately yet to try a NYX foundation, but the Can’t Stop Won’t Stop foundation is meant to be one of the best in the game! I’ve read so many amazing reviews, so I really must get my hands on this one ASAP because clearly I’m missing out big time.

Another product I have tried, tested and re-purchased more times than I can even count is the NYX Angel Veil primer, which I absolutely fell in love with as soon as I started using it. It smooths out and evens the skin tone perfectly and leaves a flawless base for your foundation to rest on/sink into. Some other primers that have proved to be very popular according to NYX Customers are the Honey Dew Me Up primer (which is definitely next on my list to try as I’ve heard so many great reviews about it across Youtube, Twitter and Instagram) and the famous NYX pore filler primer.
